Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years oil and gas/energy insurance or claims experience
- Adjustors license
- Operates under the direction of claims
- Strong client relation skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients and market contacts; including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
- Considerable knowledge of basic company computer programs for word processing, accounting and applications
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of risk transfers
- Prior brokerage experience
- Knowledge of McGriff's claim management / agency management system or ability to learn quickly
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and appropriate accounting in claim management system.
- Obtain specific information regarding loss/claim to report to the company, when necessary.
- Advise customers what processes are necessary for claims filing.
- Respond to customers regarding claims status.
- Assist producers and claims team with claims status and special projects.
- Respond to company requests for policy information as necessary for claim settlements.
- Maintain own diary system for use in periodic follow up on selected claims.
- Update all screens on claim injury system.
