About The Position
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is pivotal in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring exceptional client service, and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial insurance, particularly in construction, and possess a proactive, team-oriented approach to their work.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an independent insurance agency, with a strong background in commercial lines and construction accounts.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- High level of customer service orientation.
- Ability to balance task-oriented work with a strategic, results-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills and technical aptitude.
- Team player with a collaborative approach to work.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in EPIC software is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ranging from small to large (average size: $50,000 - $200,000).
- Handle daily tasks such as creating summaries, supplemental applications, auto ID cards, change requests, claim reporting and follow-up, loss runs, MVRs, and notice of cancellation follow-ups.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and ensure seamless operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and pursue continuing education as required.
