About The Position

J & J Companies is hiring Commercial Installers for its Commercial Division. Installers build, install, and repair pallet racking systems and other steel structures inside warehouses, distribution centers, and commercial facilities. The role is suitable for people interested in construction, warehouse work, or a skilled trade; prior installation experience is not required, and on-the-job training is provided.

Installers travel directly to project locations using company transportation. Work occurs at a variety of commercial job sites, with occasional travel required. This is a full-time, year-round position offering opportunities for career growth and advancement.

• Ability to read floor plans, blueprints, or installation layouts.
• Experience operating forklifts or scissor lifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair warehouse pallet racking systems.
• Install steel structures and related equipment in commercial facilities.
• Follow project plans, layouts, and installation instructions.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment.
• Work collaboratively with a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Travel to various project locations as needed.
