About The Position

Are you a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning conversations into results? Do you enjoy connecting with customers, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that truly add value? Socket Fiber is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll manage inbound inquiries, engage existing customers, and drive revenue through upselling and cross-selling our fiber services. You’ll play a key role in helping customers understand the value of our services while contributing directly to company growth through strong sales performance and relationship building. A Day in the Life You’ll start your day reviewing your pipeline and preparing to connect with customers. Throughout the day, you’ll handle inbound calls from prospective and existing customers, answering questions, presenting solutions, and closing sales. You’ll also spend time making outbound calls to existing customers—identifying opportunities to upgrade services, renew contracts, or expand their solutions. Between calls, you’ll update your CRM, track your progress toward goals, and collaborate with your team to refine strategies and share insights.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer interactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B or commercial sales environments
  • Experience in telecommunications or technology-related sales
  • Strong ability to build relationships and close deals over the phone
  • College degree in business, marketing, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from prospective and existing customers interested in commercial services
  • Make outbound calls to promote additional services, renewals, and upgrades
  • Convert inbound inquiries into new customer sign-ups by clearly presenting service offerings and benefits
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize customer value
  • Manage and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity within the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the commercial growth team to align strategies and share customer insights
