About The Position

Socket Fiber is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their growing team. This role involves managing inbound inquiries, engaging existing customers, and driving revenue through upselling and cross-selling fiber services. The representative will play a key role in helping customers understand the value of the services and contribute to company growth through strong sales performance and relationship building. The day-to-day involves reviewing the pipeline, connecting with customers, handling inbound calls, presenting solutions, closing sales, making outbound calls to existing customers for upgrades and renewals, updating the CRM, tracking progress, and collaborating with the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer interactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B or commercial sales environments
  • Experience in telecommunications or technology-related sales
  • Strong ability to build relationships and close deals over the phone
  • College degree in business, marketing, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from prospective and existing customers interested in commercial services
  • Make outbound calls to promote additional services, renewals, and upgrades
  • Convert inbound inquiries into new customer sign-ups by clearly presenting service offerings and benefits
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize customer value
  • Manage and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity within the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the commercial growth team to align strategies and share customer insights
