About The Position

Gensco is hiring a Commercial Inside Sales Logistics Specialist to join its Commercial Sales Team in Tacoma, Washington. The role supports the Commercial Inside Sales Department, customers, branches, and Outside Sales Team with product ordering, tracking, and delivery. It also works across Sales, branches, TDC, Purchasing, and Columbia to streamline order fulfillment, supports TDC with logistics planning for large projects, assists with customer submittals and O&M documents, and handles administrative duties and special projects.

Requirements

• A 2-year associate degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
• Ability to multitask and manage details in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness.
• Sense of urgency for deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other PC applications.
• Strong attention to detail and math skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High credibility and a high degree of honesty, ethics, and integrity.
• Ability to work sitting or standing and move freely about the facility.

Nice To Haves

• A 4-year bachelor’s degree.
• 2–5 years of experience managing a warehouse or other logistics.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Inside Sales Department, customers, branches, and Outside Sales Team with product ordering, tracking, and product delivery.
• Work with Sales, branches, TDC, Purchasing, and Columbia to create streamlined order fulfillment processes.
• Support TDC in coordinating customized logistics plans for large projects as needed.
• Assist with submittals and O&M documents when requested by customers.
• Perform a broad range of administrative responsibilities.
• Participate in special projects as assigned by Quoters, Estimators, and TDC.
