About The Position

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Commercial/Industrial Plumber to perform preventive maintenance tasks in commercial and industrial plumbing systems and install new systems as directed by the supervisor. The position is based at Malaga Maintenance in Arvin, California, and works a night shift from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The role contributes to the company’s agricultural operations as a grower, packer, and shipper of carrots and organic vegetables.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial and industrial plumbing systems.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to understand and apply the sequence of operations for complex systems.
• Ability to determine the appropriate equipment necessary to do the job.
• Ability to provide professional, effective, and courteous customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work overtime or weekends, including Saturday and Sunday, depending on business needs.
• Ability to read, write, and understand written information in English.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law is required.
