About The Position

Twining Consulting is seeking an ICC commercial industrialized building inspector to inspect fabricated units for manufactured buildings at client locations. The work covers Springfield, Missouri, and nearby areas. The inspector supports client needs and ensures technical and administrative requirements are completed accurately. The position requires working remotely from a home office and traveling by car up to 75% of the work week, with occasional air travel for client inspection assignments. Hourly pay is commensurate with experience. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
3–5 years of experience in construction, code enforcement, ICC codes, or building materials.
Must be able to work remotely from a home office.
Willingness to travel by car up to 75% of the work week and occasionally by air for client inspection assignments.
ICC Commercial Building (B2), Electrical (E2), Plumbing (P2), and Mechanical (M2) Inspector Certifications, or the ability to obtain them within a short timeframe.
Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, and prospective clients.
Willingness to grow technical knowledge and perform plan review for residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections and audits within the scope requested by the client.
Prepare and submit inspection reports electronically.
Provide technical support to clients, including assistance with Listings, HUD programs, Modular programs, and related services.
Conduct audits when required.
Communicate with regulatory agencies regarding applicable requirements.
Perform product listing inspections.
Grow technical knowledge and perform plan review for residential and commercial buildings.
