About The Position

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service, aiming to serve all humans equally by providing access to essential goods anytime, anywhere. They design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, making deliveries globally. The Commercial Implementation team is crucial for launching and ensuring the success of Zipline’s commercial operations. This team defines workflows, compliance processes, creates training materials, and optimizes the partner and operator experience. The intern will focus on designing, optimizing, and maintaining workflows for seamless partner onboarding, integration, and ongoing operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance.

Requirements

Experience in project management, operations, or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced or complex environment.
Proven track record of working with product, engineering, and customer success teams to align processes with business goals.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to drive collaboration and alignment.
Practical experience in analyzing, mapping, and reengineering workflows.
Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform process improvements and measure success.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives and ensure process documentation is comprehensive and accessible.
Reliable vehicle access to travel to our test sites.
Willingness to travel 1-2 times to out of state commercial sites.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement internal business processes (e.g., document change management system, system for collecting subjective customer feedback).
Map out existing processes to understand their flow and identify inefficiencies.
Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Product, Enterprise Systems, Customer Success, and engineering to implement workflows.
Monitor process performance, track key metrics, and report on process outcomes.
Document and maintain up-to-date process workflows, guidelines, and SOPs.
