About The Position
Pearce is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians to join their team for servicing and repairing heavy commercial HVAC equipment. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the HVAC industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Sacramento, California area.
Requirements
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 10+ years of experience with commercial HVAC maintenance, repair, and servicing on equipment such as Liebert (Required).
- High level of knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining heavy commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, water cooled systems, receptacle compressors, Liebert systems, controls, and multiple cooling systems.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
- Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on split systems up to 20 tons.
- Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season heavy commercial HVAC equipment.
- Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
