We are looking for a dependable HVAC Technician I to join our team. In this role, you will help keep our buildings safe, comfortable, and operating efficiently. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Universal CFC Certification required.
  • At least 1 year of HVAC experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Refrigeration experience required.
  • Must complete OSHA 10 certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong commitment to safety and protecting self and others.
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF).
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Monitor system performance using building automation systems (BAS/BMS) and make adjustments as needed.
  • Partner with BMS technicians to troubleshoot and correct system settings.
  • Support the Chief or Supervisor with overseeing subcontractors when required.
  • Review work orders and estimate labor, time, and materials needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Complete and maintain accurate repair and maintenance documentation.
  • Perform general building maintenance such as basic painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Respond to internal service calls and work tickets from the operations team.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and internal customers.
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Assist with training and mentoring other team members as needed.
