About The Position

Rowbel Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair commercial and residential HVAC systems, perform quality repairs, and maintain systems at peak performance. The role includes service work on rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps, as well as routine maintenance, inspections, and communication with clients and team members.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role.
Proficiency with VRF systems and light commercial work.
EPA 608 certification.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

NATE certification or equivalent.
Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile work order platforms.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment.
Replace or repair defective components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Communicate with clients and team members about service findings and recommendations.
Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
Ensure work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
