About The Position

Lennox AES has an immediate position available for a Commercial HVAC Technician. HVAC Technicians travel nationally and work under the supervision of our HVAC Foremen. Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial HVAC equipment servicing including rooftop units, adapter curbs, HVAC electrical knowledge and construction safety. This role involves 60-70 hour work weeks.

Requirements

• Certified in HVAC trade.
• 3-5 years of experience in the trade working under the direction/supervision of a Master HVAC mechanic.
• Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines for HVAC/construction industry and/or prior training in OSHA requirements.
• Ability to travel throughout the U.S. on 3 to 4 week deployment cycles.
• Ability to work overtime hours when required.
• Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• National Background Check.
• Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
• Motor Vehicle Records Check (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Travel nationally to service commercial HVAC equipment.
• Work under the supervision of HVAC Foremen.
• Service rooftop units and adapter curbs.
• Apply HVAC electrical knowledge.
• Adhere to construction safety protocols.
• Work in outdoor elements (roofs) in hot and cold weather conditions.
• Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Apply creativity and latitude in accomplishing tasks.
• Complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty if required.
• Follow instructions and guidelines to assist in the performance of the job.
