About The Position

This role involves performing seasonal preventive maintenance on split and roof top package HVAC equipment, including changing filters, cleaning coils, clearing drains, and conducting heating and cooling checks. The technician will also be responsible for accurate and timely completion of customer service and administrative paperwork, maintaining a clean and organized company work truck, and keeping accurate inventory counts of parts, supplies, and tools. The position requires establishing and maintaining a proper toolbox within 30 days of employment and assisting with other job duties as assigned by the service manager or senior technicians.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0 - 2 years of HVAC Service experience
• EPA License (company can provide testing)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Submit to criminal background check for approval by Estes Services
• Eligibility to work in the US
• Commercial HVAC knowledge preferred
• Mobile phone skills including application usage and accepting mobile payments
• Electronic communication skills - Email, Google suite, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform seasonal preventive maintenance on split and roof top package HVAC equipment.
• Change filters, clean coils, clear drains, and perform checks in both heating and cooling.
• Complete all customer service and administrative paperwork accurately and in a timely manner according to company policies.
• Keep assigned company work truck clean, neat, and organized.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts of all parts, supplies, consumables, and tools on board.
• Establish and maintain a proper tool box with tools required for the job within 30 days of employment.
• Assist in any other job duties assigned by the service manager, or other senior technicians.
