Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (Required)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Pride in delivering quality workmanship
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
  • EPA/CFC Certification (Universal preferred)
  • Comfortable using tablets and mobile technology for service documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Technical school or associate degree is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Work on equipment including air conditioning systems, air handling units, fan coil units, chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, makeup air units (MAUs), energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), water source heat pumps (WSHPs), HVAC control systems, commercial refrigeration equipment, exhaust systems, and more.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Identify potential problems before they become costly failures.
  • Clearly explain repair options and recommendations to customers.
  • Complete accurate service documentation.
  • Work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
  • Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
  • Mentor and support less experienced technicians.
