Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC systems, or related experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • EPA Universal Certification (suggested).
  • Strong understanding of single/three-phase electrical systems, ability to read commercial wiring schematics, refrigeration cycles.
  • Ability to lift independently, up to 50 lbs., work on ladders/roofs, tight spaces, and perform work in varied weather conditions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Must be a safety-minded individual.
  • Clean and Professional appearance: Company uniforms are provided and required.
  • New hire training will require a 1-week course at our R&D facility located in PA. Ability to travel will be required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to consider applicants that require sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

  • Commissioning of CaptiveAire Equipment: Verifying CAS products operate as designed by testing airflows, reviewing installations, testing product functions by connecting laptops and running automated test, and physical testing of all equipment.
  • Service & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems.
  • Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and perform routine preventive maintenance on various commercial mechanical systems to ensure optimal efficiency and operation.
  • Diagnostics: Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose complex system issues.
  • Customer Care: Communicate clearly and professionally with facility managers, property owners, and team members regarding system status, required repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Compliance & Safety: Strict adherence to EPA regulations and company safety standards at all times.
