About The Position

RLP Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for the DFW Metroplex. For over 15 years, RLP Mechanical has been a trusted leader in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing various commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and communicating with customers. Requirements

• 3–6+ years of hands-on commercial refrigeration & HVAC service experience
• EPA Type II certification required
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach

Nice To Haves

• Previous commercial kitchen equipment repair experience is a plus
• OSHA 30 preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC refrigeration systems: walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, rack systems, ice machines as well as RTU’s, split systems, and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep systems running at peak efficiency
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues quickly and effectively
• Follow all safety protocols and refrigerant handling guidelines
• Communicate clearly with customers and recommend needed repairs or upgrades
• Share your expertise to mentor junior technicians
