Requirements
- Experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Knowledge of heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults in HVAC systems
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
- Ability to respond to emergency call-outs
- Ability to provide technical support and advice to customers
- Knowledge of company procedures and health and safety regulations
- Ability to keep accurate records
Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for both commercial and residential customers. This includes air conditioning systems, chillers, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems, ensuring they operate at optimal efficiency.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and inspecting electrical wiring.
- Responding to emergency call-outs, quickly identifying the problem and implementing a suitable solution.
- Providing technical support and advice to customers, explaining complex HVAC issues in a clear, understandable manner.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and reporting any issues encountered.
