About The Position

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Solutions Sales Representative for Modernizations or Controls. This role is responsible for pursuing large opportunities to help customers modernize their equipment, focusing on plan/spec, design/build, and direct-to-owner projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, provides outstanding customer service, and is results-oriented with experience in handling large mechanical customer projects.

Requirements

• High school Diploma/GED
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years HVAC systems experience or 10+ years of HVAC systems experience in lieu of education
• 2+ years of HVAC retrofit/modernization experience
• Must hold a valid driver’s license as daily area travel is required

Responsibilities

• Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities
• Demonstrate expertise in Commercial HVAC
• Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions
• Manage complex multi service solutions proposals
• Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities and opportunity pipeline
• Demonstrate well developed sales skills to include expert awareness, commercial acumen and integrity
• Seek out and access new Modernization opportunities both with existing customers and new prospect customers
• Establish and build credibility
• Develop and sustain customer relationships
• Create compelling presentations and communicate effectively
• Detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly
• Manage multiple activities all occurring at the same time, organize others and workflow to meet objectives on time
• Anticipate future trends accurately
• Adapts quickly in face pace environment to gain the order/booking in a timely manner
• Consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets
• Create high quality timely estimates, bids & proposals including detailed cost benefit analysis to support client's business case for investment.
