About The Position
Mr. C’s Refrigeration is looking for experienced commercial HVAC and refrigeration professionals to join our team. We are open to candidates from a variety of commercial service backgrounds, including: Commercial HVAC Service Technicians, Commercial Refrigeration Technicians, Supermarket and Rack Refrigeration Technicians, and Combination HVAC/R Technicians. If you have hands-on commercial experience, a strong work ethic, and take pride in doing quality work, we want to hear from you. Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment. Our offering of comprehensive mechanical services includes hot side cooking equipment, stand-alone refrigeration, specialty coffee and beverage, complex rack refrigeration and HVAC.
Requirements
- Current EPA certification
- Previous commercial HVAC, commercial refrigeration, or rack refrigeration experience
- Must live within 25 miles of Louisville, Kentucky
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair commercial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, motivated, and ready to work
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation when required
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration system issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service as needed
- Work on equipment related to your experience, which may include commercial HVAC systems, walk-in and reach-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and rack refrigeration systems
- Clearly communicate findings and recommended repairs
- Complete service documentation accurately and promptly
- Maintain a professional attitude while working with customers and team members
- Follow company procedures and all applicable safety standards
