Commercial HVAC/R Field Service Manager
About The Position
Lead and help build an Austin commercial HVAC/R service operation backed by an established mechanical services company. Initially, the team will consist of the manager, a senior technician, and a junior technician. The role combines hands-on support for challenging technical situations with technician coaching, service and maintenance oversight, customer relationship development, and helping grow the market. Operational and dispatch support will be provided. The proposed base salary is $105,000–$130,000, with performance incentives. Benefits are listed as under confirmation. Formal branch management experience is helpful but not essential.
Requirements
- Preferred 8–10+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience.
- Strong knowledge of rooftop units, refrigeration, and controls.
- Proven ability to lead or mentor.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- EPA 608 certification.
- Ability to meet Texas licensing requirements.
- Motivation to build a team and business.
