About The Position

Magnolia Plumbing, Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our Install Department. We are looking for motivated professionals with strong technical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in commercial environments throughout the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting a wide range of commercial HVAC systems while maintaining high-quality workmanship and delivering excellent customer service. A $5,000 signing bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
  • EPA/CFC Certification required.
  • Journeyman HVAC License and Gasfitter License required
  • Experience working with boilers, cooling towers, dry coolers, hydronic systems, water source heat pumps, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
  • Experience with basic controls and low-voltage troubleshooting.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced commercial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service at all times.
  • Maintain proper truck stock and inventory levels.
  • Keep company vehicles clean and follow maintenance schedules.
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards on all job sites.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality and customer experience.
