About The Position

An HVAC Install Supervisor oversees all on-site installation activities, managing crews, scheduling, and logistics to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and according to code. They drive the field execution, coordinating material deliveries, performing quality control inspections, training and development, and acting as the main point of contact for contractors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field service and installation experience.
  • Experience with VRF and duct installation.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, blueprints, and building codes.
  • Prior leadership experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, blueprints, and building codes.
  • Leadership: Experience leading teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve conflicts, technical issues, and scheduling challenges.
  • Safety Focus: Strict adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Universal EPA preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification (obtainable after hire)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple HVAC installation crews, assigning jobs, and ensuring adherence to company standards, safety, and productivity goals.
  • Coordinate with contractors and project managers to schedule installations, inspections, and equipment start-ups.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are ordered, delivered, and properly utilized on site, reducing waste.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure installations comply with building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and design specifications.
  • Assist field crews in technical, design, or installation issues on-site.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers, report on project progress, and manage customer service issues or change orders.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate installers to foster a skilled, high-performing team.
  • Directs and supervises install crews, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and quality workmanship.
  • Offers expertise in diagnosing complex HVAC issues, providing technical support to field staff.
  • Conducts regular site visits and inspections to verify installations meet design specifications and company standards.
  • Serves as a contact for clients or general contractors regarding project progress.
  • Trains, mentors, and evaluates install technicians to improve productivity and safety awareness.
  • Maintains records of projects, daily activities, materials used, and equipment performance.
