Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-driven mindset
  • Experience using CRM systems is considered an asset
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage a portfolio of lease customers working with their salespeople ensuring consistent and timely follow-up
  • Proactively contact customers approaching lease maturity to review their options, including upgrading, renewing, or purchasing their current vehicle.
  • Identify opportunities to retain customers within the North Island Nissan family
  • Coordinate lease-end processes to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience
  • Take over sales process for all orphan owner lease portfolio customers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions within the CRM
  • Work closely with management to develop strategies for improving lease retention and penetration
  • Work with Sales team to build confidence in leasing and how to sell the benefits of the program
  • Engage with showroom and online customers to generate vehicle sales opportunities
  • Conduct needs assessments, vehicle presentations, and test drives
  • Negotiate and close sales in accordance with dealership processes
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across new and pre-owned inventory
  • Follow up with leads and prospects to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
