The Commercial Finance Manager, DBC partners with the Diageo Beer Company commercial team and functions to drive business performance through the provision of financial/commercial expertise and insights. This role is responsible for owning the delivery of financial targets within an effective control environment. Requirements

Degree educated with relevant professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA) - not necessarily a qualified accountant.
5+ years of experience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating environment.
Demonstrating commercial competence.
Critical Finance Capabilities: Business performance management, Data-driven insights, Decision making support, Financial planning, Internal control, Accounting principles.

Responsibilities

Deliver robust business performance management processes to ensure the achievement of all relevant financial metrics.
Deliver a robust governance and control environment and an effective risk management agenda.
Provide support in formulating business strategy and converting strategies into operating plans with recommended prioritization.
Identify all critical business opportunities, risks, and initiatives, and provide standard process financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Find opportunities to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of finance activities.
Support finance strategy projects.
