About The Position

Aligned Talent Acquisition is continually seeking experienced Commercial Finance Associate Attorneys for opportunities with Am Law 100, Am Law 200, regional, and boutique law firms throughout Ohio, including Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Toledo. This role involves representing banks, lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, or financial institutions in commercial lending transactions. The practice area is in high demand across Ohio's banking and middle-market economy, offering a sophisticated transactional practice with significant client interaction and deal responsibility. Requirements

2–8 years of commercial finance experience
Experience representing lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured lending transactions
Experience with asset-based lending, syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, revolving credit facilities, and term loans
Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, loan documents, and intercreditor agreements
Experience conducting due diligence and managing financing transactions through closing
Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client counseling skills
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Ohio bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Responsibilities

Representing banks, lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, or financial institutions in commercial lending transactions.
Representing lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured lending transactions.
Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, loan documents, and intercreditor agreements.
Conducting due diligence and managing financing transactions through closing.
