About The Position

The Commercial Finance Analyst supports top-line growth, optimization, and execution of brand plans through advanced data analytics, reporting, and strategic analysis of volume, sales, and profitability. The role develops analytical tools, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and transforms complex master data into narratives that inform executive decision-making. It partners with sales and finance stakeholders to improve performance, financial accountability, and reporting accuracy. This is a hybrid role based locally in Louisville, Kentucky, with three days in the office.

Requirements

Be a self-starter who operates with high autonomy to drive strategic initiatives and deliver business outcomes.
Demonstrate mastery of Power BI and Excel for complex data modeling.
Demonstrate advanced PowerPoint skills for executive presentations.
Be able to translate raw data sets into compelling, high-level business narratives.
Have an exceptionally organized, process-oriented mindset with a sharp eye for workflow efficiency and data integrity.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of dedicated commercial or financial analysis experience, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods or matrixed corporate environment.
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent commensurate commercial experience.

Responsibilities

Build clear, insightful presentations for executive leadership that translate financial data into actionable business results.
Use Power BI and various data sets to deliver product and geographical analyses that support top-line growth.
Serve as a strategic financial liaison to State Managers and Division Vice Presidents, providing data-driven analyses and an executive presence for cross-functional initiatives.
Manage sales budget tracking and reporting, and lead financial reviews to optimize spend ROI and drive accountability.
Partner with sales teams to assess reporting needs and design intuitive tools and dashboards that support performance KPIs.
Coordinate with the Accounting team to ensure financial transactions are accurately coded, recorded to the ledger, and charged against appropriate budgets.
