About The Position
Xcel Energy is seeking engineers to provide technical support for their commercial and industrial programs, which assist customers in using energy more efficiently. Successful candidates will have an interest in carbon reduction and learning about the transformation of the utility sector through efficiency improvements and electrification. The role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills to share technical information and work effectively with internal and external teams. Requirements
- Current student, Junior or higher (as of Fall 2027)
- Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering
- Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)
- Able to work part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week)
- Able to commute to the designated work location in-person, per our hybrid work policy
Nice To Haves
- Data Analytics experience
- Familiarity with thermodynamics
Responsibilities
- Facilitate program implementation
