About The Position

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring motivated individuals to join our Akron team as Commercial Energy Consultants. This entry-level position is designed for people who enjoy working with others and want to build a successful career helping local businesses. We provide training, coaching, and mentorship. As a Commercial Energy Consultant, you’ll meet with local business owners to review their electricity and natural gas supply plans, identify opportunities to reduce energy costs, and recommend competitive supplier options. You will focus on developing new customer relationships while learning our proven customer consultation process alongside experienced mentors. As we expand, we are looking for motivated people who want to grow with us.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal vehicle
Authorized to work in the United States
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role
Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
