We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an entry level Commercial Energy Auditor! You will be in a customer-facing role meeting with commercial and industrial business owners and operators to install energy efficiency measures, conduct energy efficiency audits, pre- and post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Successful candidates will reside in or around Central Louisiana for frequent travel within the territory. This is an entry level manual labor position with provided on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • Experience in industries such as construction, facility maintenance or installation
  • Customer service skills
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard
  • Must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record.
  • Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
  • If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

  • Travel daily throughout a defined territory
  • Conduct entry-level commercial energy audits for small and mid-sized facilities
  • Engage directly with customers and contractors to explain program offerings, encourage participation, and address basic questions
  • Accurately document inspections, installations, and customer interactions in accordance with program requirements
  • Perform on-site installation of energy efficiency measures, including physical labor and use of basic tools
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate basic technical or installation issues to program staff as needed
