About The Position

The Commercial Electrical Foreman at Beckstrom Electric Co Master oversees and manages electrical projects to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. The foreman leads a team of electricians, coordinates tasks and resources, and works to meet project deadlines and client specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in the electrical industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Demonstrated experience managing electrical projects from inception to completion while meeting timelines and budgets.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and guide electricians and technicians.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment, and familiarity with industry-standard project management and documentation software.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct electricians on projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work for compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours, and provide reports as needed.
• Identify and resolve issues or obstacles that arise during projects.
• Train and mentor team members and foster continuous improvement and professional development.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report deficiencies.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to promote a safe and productive work environment.
