About The Position

Overhead Door Company of Albuquerque™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring Commercial Door Technicians in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and surrounding areas. Technicians repair and/or install a variety of commercial doors and dock equipment. The role is open to candidates with no experience, and paid training is provided. Relevant backgrounds may include general labor, carpentry, field service, mechanics, glazing, or other skilled trades. A company truck is provided after training completion, along with company-paid fuel and tool and boot allowances. Some travel for out-of-town work may be required. Employment is contingent on successful employment verifications, a background check, drug screening, and driving-record review where applicable.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights and using a ladder.
• Successful completion of required employment verifications, background check, and drug screen; driving-record review if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical, carpentry, or service industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair commercial doors and dock hardware, including rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors, dock levelers, and related equipment.
• Identify opportunities to recommend products and services to customers.
• Maintain accurate job-related paperwork.
• Operate safely and professionally at every job site.
