About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring experienced Commercial Dock and Door Technicians and trainees to work in Carol Stream, Illinois, and surrounding areas. The company is a family-owned and privately held business with more than 60 offices across the continental United States and operates in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. Technicians service and maintain products, identify opportunities to offer customers products and services, and complete and submit job-related paperwork promptly. They are expected to work safely at all times. The role requires the ability to lift 100 pounds overhead and work at heights using a ladder. A company truck, company-paid fuel, tool and boot allowances, and paid training are provided. The anticipated pay range is $26–$39 USD; actual compensation depends on qualifications and other factors. Employment is contingent on successful completion of employment verifications, a background check, drug screening, and driving-record review, as applicable.

Requirements

Able to safely lift 100 pounds overhead.
Able to work at heights and use a ladder.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Successful completion of employment verifications, a background check, and drug screening is required before hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in construction, general labor, service technician work, installation, carpentry, mechanics, assembly work, or another skilled trade is helpful; training is available.
