We’re hiring an experienced Commercial Door Technician to join our team in Hillsborough, NJ. You’ll handle installs, service, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of commercial and industrial door systems. Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial doors, loading dock equipment, or similar mechanical trades.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in industrial environments.
• Ability to work independently on installs and service calls.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious.
• Able to manage time effectively and follow through on commitments.
• Works well without micromanagement.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial overhead doors, rolling steel doors, sectional doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers, and truck restraints.
• Diagnose issues, perform troubleshooting, and complete repairs independently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) on commercial equipment.
• Read work orders and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service truck in good condition.
• Document work performed with accuracy and attention to detail.
