About The Position

Midco Diving & Marine Services is hiring a Commercial Diver to work on diverse underwater construction, inspection, and repair projects nationwide. The role involves traveling to sites such as lakes, dams, bridges, potable water tanks, and processing plants. The diver performs cleaning, inspections, structural repairs, and maintenance while following high safety and quality standards. Work may involve elevated heights, confined spaces, demanding physical labor, and changing field conditions. Extensive year-round travel is required, with daily per diem allowances to help cover nights away from headquarters.

Requirements

Desire to grow and develop in the field.
Willingness to learn company-specific policies, procedures, and safety practices.
High school diploma or GED.
Commercial Dive School Diploma from an ADCI-accredited program.
Valid dive physical completed within the last year.
Current CPR, First Aid, and O2 certifications.
Current ADCI Diver/Tender card.
Valid driver's license.

Potable diving experience.

Responsibilities

Execute cleaning, detailed inspections, structural repairs, and routine maintenance at diverse job sites.
Work independently and as part of a crew, providing direction and support to teammates on site as needed.
Follow OSHA, company, and industry safety protocols and regulations to mitigate hazards.
Communicate professionally and regularly with dive crew members, management, and office staff about project status, schedule changes, and safety issues.
Work in challenging environments, including elevated heights and confined spaces, and perform demanding physical labor such as climbing, hoisting, crawling, and squatting.
Complete electronic paperwork accurately and promptly, including daily logs, dive logs, and additional work reports.
Travel extensively year-round and adapt to varying regional climates, site dynamics, and field conditions.
