About The Position

Suki is an AI technology company transforming healthcare by reducing the administrative burden on clinicians. Its platform leverages generative AI and voice technology to automate clinical documentation and streamline workflows, enabling clinicians to focus more on patient care while improving efficiency and outcomes. Suki is hiring a Commercial Counsel to play a central role in scaling its commercial engine and supporting the company’s continued growth. As a key member of a lean legal team, this role reports directly to the General Counsel and operates as a deeply embedded partner to Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams. In this role, you will lead the full lifecycle of commercial transactions—drafting, negotiating, and advising on a broad range of agreements, including software licenses, partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and new business initiatives. You will serve as the primary legal point of contact for deals, guiding strategy, managing risk, and driving negotiations to efficient execution. Beyond transactional work, you will help build and operationalize scalable contracting processes, including developing playbooks and frameworks that enable the business to move faster and more consistently. You will also provide practical, business-oriented counsel on data privacy, AI-related regulatory considerations, and broader legal risks tied to product and commercial strategy. This role requires a lawyer who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment—someone who can balance legal rigor with pragmatic decision-making, translate complex issues into clear guidance, and contribute meaningfully to both execution and infrastructure building. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial contracting experience within technology environments, sound judgment, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.
