About The Position
Tegrity Contractors is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on government and public works projects in the Waco area. This role ensures that all construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and public sector requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a superintendent on commercial or public works projects
- Strong understanding of government construction standards and compliance requirements
- Proven leadership in managing multiple trades and jobsite operations
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and municipal agencies
- Maintain and enforce project schedules, budgets, and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, codes, and contract documents
- Conduct quality control inspections and resolve field issues promptly
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and public stakeholders
- Maintain detailed daily logs, reports, and documentation for public accountability
