This role involves leading daily on-site operations for ground-up commercial construction projects, ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with design specifications. The Superintendent will drive project schedules, monitor progress against milestones, coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field personnel, and maintain high standards of quality control and site documentation. Effective communication with project managers, clients, and internal teams is crucial, as is identifying and resolving field issues to keep projects on track. The position requires updating and distributing a 3-week rolling schedule to ensure all subcontractors and materials are on site, adhering to all timelines on the master schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in ground‑up commercial construction
  • Experience with tenant improvement (TI) spaces
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field operations
  • Proficiency with construction scheduling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Schedule‑driven, organized, and highly task‑oriented
  • Effective leadership and team‑coordination abilities
  • High‑level construction technology skills
  • Ability to supervise on‑site activities and maintain safety and quality standards
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt in fast‑paced field environments
  • Willing to travel and be out of town
  • Will always be home on weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Autodesk / ACC / Build software
  • OSHPD experience
  • Healthcare construction experience
