About The Position

HITT Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Seattle office and play a key leadership role in expanding HITT’s presence into the Federal Government construction market throughout the Pacific Northwest. This is more than a traditional project leadership role. We’re looking for someone who can help establish and grow HITT’s federal portfolio, identify new opportunities and ventures within the sector, build relationships with key government and industry partners, and provide the operational leadership necessary to successfully pursue and execute complex federal work. The position will focus on Federal Government and Department of Defense construction, with an emphasis on projects ranging from approximately $50M–$300M+. The ideal candidate will bring significant federal construction experience and established knowledge of DoD, NAVFAC, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Naval Base Kitsap/Bremerton, and other federal agencies and installations throughout the Pacific Northwest. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial federal construction leader who can combine business development, market strategy, and project execution to help establish and grow HITT’s federal presence in the Pacific Northwest.

Requirements

  • Significant commercial/general contracting experience with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Direct Federal Government construction experience required
  • Proven experience delivering large, complex projects in the $50M–$300M+ range
  • Demonstrated experience developing client relationships, pursuing new work, and identifying market opportunities
  • Strong operational, financial, and team leadership capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for DoD and/or NAVFAC experience
  • Pacific Northwest federal construction experience and market relationships strongly preferred
  • Experience with JBLM, Naval Base Kitsap/Bremerton, or similar military installations highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and lead HITT’s strategy for entering and expanding within the Pacific Northwest federal market
  • Identify new federal opportunities, partnerships, and strategic ventures
  • Build relationships with government clients, industry partners, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders
  • Lead federal pursuits, proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
  • Provide executive oversight for complex federal projects ranging from $50M–$300M+
  • Lead project teams from preconstruction through closeout
  • Oversee project financials, schedules, risk, quality, and overall execution
  • Build, mentor, and develop project teams to support long-term growth of the federal business
