About The Position

CentiMark Corporation is hiring a Commercial Construction Estimator to support its sales and operations team in Billings, Montana. The role pays $60,000–$70,000, with a bonus opportunity, and includes travel to customer locations and project sites. The estimator performs take-offs from architectural and construction specification drawings, inspects and measures roofs, and estimates the roofing materials and labor required for reroofing projects. The position prepares estimates, quotations, detailed proposals, and submittals using a proprietary computer system, while working closely with the sales team to provide accurate information for customer proposals. The estimator also supports ongoing operations through site visits, project reviews, progress reports, change-order tracking, and closeout documentation, and markets to potential prospects in the area.

Requirements

• Commercial estimation knowledge or experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and perform project take-offs.
• Ability to compile and prepare project submittals.
• Ability to track project change orders.
• Ability to complete project closeout documentation as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and bid estimating software.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to climb up and down ladders to a minimum height of 25 feet.
• Experience with thermoplastic, BUR, metal, shingles, EPDM, SPF foam, and coatings.

Responsibilities

• Perform project take-offs from architectural and construction specification drawings.
• Prepare project submittals for specified contract projects.
• Travel to customer locations to inspect roofs and perform take-offs.
• Communicate with customers and inspect roofs for problem areas.
• Measure roofs and estimate the materials and labor needed for reroofing.
• Work closely with the sales force to provide accurate information for customer proposals.
• Prepare estimates, quotations, and detailed proposals using a proprietary computer system.
• Visit ongoing project sites to support operations and improve customer communication and experience.
• Review projects and prepare regular job progress reports.
• Travel out of town occasionally.
• Market to new potential prospects in the area.
• Track project change orders and complete project closeout documentation as required.
