Requirements

  • At least 3 years of field experience as a Foreman, Commercial Concrete Superintendent or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA requirements, safety protocols, and construction best practices.
  • Effective leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to inspire and guide your team.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude with a commitment to collaboration and growth.
  • Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise concrete laborers, finishers, and crew leads, ensuring that every task—from preparation to finishing and curing—is executed with excellence.
  • Prepare work schedules and daily plans while proactively identifying and mitigating risks to keep projects on track.
  • Assign tasks, mentor crew members, and ensure the efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and plans to confirm all work aligns with design requirements and ECS’s high standards.
  • Promote and enforce OSHA regulations, ECS safety policies, and industry standards to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Proactively address obstacles, communicate with leadership, and collaborate to find solutions that keep projects moving forward.
  • Keep job sites clean and organized, from managing tools and equipment to ensuring all materials are in place.
