About The Position

This role is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks to support the Commercial Concrete Division. The individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily, demonstrating knowledge of working conditions and physical requirements. Key responsibilities include maintaining data privacy, managing new hire onboarding, processing payroll, handling fleet maintenance documentation, and assisting with project closeout documents. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications, especially Excel.
  • Proficient with Adobe Pro & Bluebeam.
  • Be able to pass Federal background check to gain access to military bases if needed.
  • Promote safe and productive practices to ensure the highest quality product is delivered to our customer.

  • Must possess a valid driver license and qualify to drive under company vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain data privacy and employee confidentiality per Federal laws and contractual obligations.
  • Review and submit new hire paperwork.
  • Coordinate new hire arrivals and computer-based certification trainings.
  • Schedule GC SSHO site trainings if applicable.
  • Update and submit EAL and DBIDS if applicable.
  • Maintain personnel files, including new hire paperwork, checklists, disciplinary forms, vacation request forms, and evaluations.
  • Notify management of 90-day reviews.
  • Manage the PERKS program.
  • Input employee time into time tracking software if applicable.
  • Verify information provided by Foreman/Superintendent for payroll, reviewing for inaccuracies and contacting employees for pay discrepancies.
  • Process per diem assignments.
  • Submit staffing agencies timecards.
  • Take meeting notes and create reports for tracking purposes.
  • Maintain up-to-date vehicle/equipment logs.
  • Track and file monthly vehicle checklists.
  • Track and schedule equipment maintenance with mechanics.
  • Find and set up affordable housing for crews if applicable.
  • Assist in project closeout documents.
