About The Position

Innovative Concrete, LLC's South Dakota division is looking for a strong Commercial Concrete Foreman to run our crews in the field. This role requires someone who leads by example, upholds high standards on the job site, and effectively manages projects to completion safely. The Foreman will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager, acting as the crucial link between the field and the office. Responsibilities include updating everyone on progress, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to prevent delays, and ensuring seamless team communication from project inception to completion.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of concrete experience with a minimum of 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, tools, and safety standards.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to pass a federal criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all activities of concrete laborers and finishers on job sites.
• Interpret blueprints and project specifications, assigning tasks accordingly.
• Promote and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure high-quality work is completed on schedule and meets all specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of work progress, materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to report on progress and address issues.
• Maintain accurate records of workforce, daily activities, and timelines.
• Participate in planning and scheduling of concrete pours and finishing operations.
• Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts effectively.
