About The Position
ServiceMaster Clean is seeking dependable, hardworking candidates for part-time commercial cleaning work in the Neenah/Menasha area. Work starts after 5 p.m., and scheduling is flexible. The role involves traveling to multiple work locations, so dependable and secure transportation is required. On-the-job training is provided to candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The position creates cleaner and healthier environments in customers’ buildings and grounds by completing facility cleaning duties using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures. Duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, and dusting, as well as keeping the cleaning closet organized and communicating supply needs to a supervisor.
Requirements
- Dependable and secure transportation to travel among multiple work locations.
- Ability to work independently and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace while multitasking.
- Ability to read and follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Strong time-management skills to complete tasks within allotted time.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility cleaning duties using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
- Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean restrooms and windows, and dust.
- Maintain a clean and organized cleaning closet.
- Communicate with the supervisor when supplies are needed.
- Contribute to the overall team effort by wearing a uniform and being dependable and punctual.
