About The Position

Clean Team Inc. is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaners to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment at a commercial facility in Troy, Ohio. Candidates should take pride in their work, have a strong work ethic, and consistently meet cleaning standards. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for suitable candidates. This is a part-time position with a choice of two schedules: an evening shift Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts required, or an overnight shift Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM.

Cleaners maintain restrooms, hallways, floors, surfaces, and other assigned areas; disinfect high-touch surfaces; replenish supplies; and use cleaning equipment and supplies safely. They also report maintenance concerns, spills, and potential safety hazards, follow established cleaning and safety procedures, and help provide a clean, welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role requires standing for up to eight hours and performing repetitive cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, lifting, sweeping, and mopping. Employees must be able to push or pull up to 20 pounds.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Replenish restroom and common-area supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and correctly.
• Report maintenance concerns, spills, and potential safety hazards to a supervisor.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional approach while helping provide a clean and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
