About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at a location in Troy, Ohio. The cleaner will help ensure workspaces are safe, sanitary, and presentable for employees and visitors as part of a professional cleaning team. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Available schedules are Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with an occasional Saturday shift required, or Sunday through Thursday, 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management skills to complete duties within scheduled shifts.
• Physical stamina for repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Reliable work ethic and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience.
• Knowledge of the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean restrooms, hallways, and other designated areas within the commercial building.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and regularly sanitize restrooms.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Restock restroom and common-area supplies, including paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Promptly report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
