About The Position

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments in customers’ buildings and grounds. The Commercial Cleaner performs facility cleaning using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures, and maintains supplies and equipment. The role is part-time, working two nights per week, Monday and Thursday, for two hours each night. On-the-job training is provided to people with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The position is part of a team focused on dependable service and courteous treatment of coworkers and customers.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multitasked job.
• Ability to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach for up to 100% of the work time.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean restrooms and windows, and dust.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Contribute to the team effort by wearing a uniform and being dependable and punctual.
• Treat coworkers and customers with courtesy and respect.
