Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• at least 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, audit, procurement, or commercial card program administration.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
• This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license.
• The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence.
• If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in-depth analysis of commercial card transaction data, spend patterns, and program KPIs. Develops and maintains recurring KPI/KPR reports, identifies trends and input to inform procurement strategies, and prepares detailed reports and presentations for program leadership.
• Conducts program audits and analyzes commercial card transactions for compliance with university policy, procedure, and state regulation. Investigates unusual purchasing patterns, recommends corrective actions, and compiles audit findings into actionable reports.
• Supports efforts to implement the banking expense management platform, including hierarchy troubleshooting, database maintenance, and data governance. Evaluates and recommends technology solutions, such as automation and analytics tools, to improve program efficiency. Supports current bank platform, hierarchy management, commercial card operations.
• Partners with the AVP and program leadership on process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and special projects. Supports change-management efforts and documents standard operating procedures.
• Serves as a liaison to campus stakeholders, vendors, and financial institution partners. Prepares correspondence, training materials, and communications supporting program initiatives. Expected to follow the Procurement Services communications pipleline for all cardholder comms. Must understand that commercial card program is a key part of overall procurement process and strategy.
• Actively pursues professional development and relevant certification (e.g., CPCP). Participates in cross-functional committees and stretch projects designed to build readiness for future program leadership responsibilities.
