About The Position

Roto-Rooter is hiring a Commercial Business Manager for its Jacksonville branch. The role is responsible for growing commercial sales by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing commercial customers. The manager promotes all lines of business to prospective and current commercial customers and directly supervises the commercial jetting and sales team. The position pays $80,000–$90,000, depending on experience, with the opportunity for a branch-performance-based bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of sales and management experience.
• Commercial sales experience with a proven year-over-year record of successfully developing and growing a territory.
• Sound problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record according to company policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop additional business by selling preventative maintenance and priority care programs.
• Spend most working time in the field visiting prospective and existing commercial customers and establishing relationships.
• Assist the National Sales Team with processing work orders and ensuring paperwork follows approved standardized procedures for work performed or quoted by jet technicians and commercial field supervisors.
• Follow up with customers after job completion to ensure satisfaction with work performed by jet technicians and commercial field supervisors.
• Manage the productivity of commercial jet technicians and commercial field supervisors to meet performance goals.
• Join local trade associations and participate in applicable trade shows and events.
• Coach and counsel jet technicians and commercial field supervisors who do not meet published production goals, and establish performance-improvement goals.
• Oversee scheduling of jet technicians and commercial field supervisors to ensure sufficient staffing for required work.
• Develop customer relationships to build loyalty.
