About The Position

Roto-Rooter is hiring a Commercial Business Manager for its Camden branch in Runnemede, New Jersey. The role is responsible for growing commercial sales by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing commercial customers. The manager promotes all lines of business, including preventative maintenance and priority care programs, and directly supervises the commercial jetting and sales team. The position’s salary range is $95,000–$100,000, depending on experience, with an opportunity for a branch-performance-based bonus.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years of sales and management experience.
Commercial sales experience with a proven year-over-year record of successfully developing and growing a territory.
Sound problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record according to company policy.

Responsibilities

Develop business opportunities by selling preventative maintenance and priority care programs.
Spend most of the time in the field visiting current and prospective commercial customers and establishing relationships.
Assist the National Sales Team with processing work orders and ensure required paperwork follows approved standardized procedures for work performed or quoted by jet technicians and commercial field supervisors.
Follow up with customers after job completion to confirm satisfactory work by jet technicians and commercial field supervisors.
Manage the productivity of commercial jet technicians and field supervisors to support performance goals.
Join local trade associations and participate in trade shows and events when applicable.
Coach and counsel jet technicians and commercial field supervisors who are not meeting published production goals, and establish performance improvement goals.
Oversee scheduling of jet technicians and commercial field supervisors to ensure adequate staffing for required work.
Build customer loyalty by developing customer relationships.
